Our story
What began as the construction of their own dream home in Norway grew into a mission. Enchanted by the peace, space, and unspoiled nature, Erik and Adla, founders of Portula, quickly realized that they didn't want to keep this to themselves. In 2004, they decided to share their passion, and thus Portula Norway was born.
From dream to reality in Norway
Building their dream home in Norway was inspiring, but also complex, with strict rules, cultural differences, and a different way of working. That experience led to the creation of Portula: a full-service construction company that takes care of the entire process for its customers. From design to key handover, we have been building wooden dream villas in Norway for more than 20 years under our own management, with a love for the profession and the country.
In 2019, Werner steps aboard: three forces, one mission
Werner joined Portula in 2019, after which the company grew significantly. Werner focuses on the commercial side, guiding private clients and corporate investors through the entire purchase process.
Our close-knit team at the Dutch headquarters in Apeldoorn contributes to the further qualitative and personal support provided to the organization, but is primarily customer-focused. In Norway, we have everything under our own control: our own construction company, local craftsmen, and we work exclusively with Norwegian materials. With the opening of our local office in Norway, we can now provide even better personal support to our customers, in a familiar, professional manner and close to the projects.
