Historic center
Lillehammer
Lillehammer became world famous for the 1994 Olympic Games that took place there. The series Lilyhammer on Netflix added a bit of humour.
The centre of Lillehammer has historic buildings and artisan little shops, but also modern retail chains, museums and cultural centres are well represented. Just outside Lillehammer one can find amusement park Hunderfossen with more than 50 attractions and activities for children of all ages.
Whoever comes to Lillehammer for winter sport (which is possible from November until April), will still benefit from the beautiful Olympic facilities that were developed here. Skiers, cross country skiers and snowboarders will have a wonderful time here.
Outside the winter sport season, Lillehammer is an ideal home base for hiking and horse-riding trips in the surrounding national parks, including Rondane, Jotunheimen or Langsua. Nature in the high mountains, on the densely wooded hills and in the green glens, is spectacular.
In addition to building now also renting
Meanwhile, Portula has existed since 2004 and we recently introduced Fjord Rentals: the letting of luxurious wooden holiday villas at different beautiful locations in Norway.
