Enjoyable harbour and ancient town centre
Risør
Risør is close to Kragerø and is also a popular tourist destination, but it is somewhat quieter. Still, also Risør has an enjoyable harbour, with all sorts of restaurants and little shops with, for instance, books and antiques. In the old town centre, many ancient wooden buildings were preserved. The Norwegian culture is very much alive here: you will come across Norwegian handicraft everywhere, while during the first week of August, a festival around the topic of wooden boats takes place, in Risør.
One side of Risør is adjacent to the sea and the many island off the coast. In the hinterland of Risør, one can find a landscape with many lakes and hills. So, plenty of opportunity for hiking, fishing, kayaking and swimming.
In addition to building now also renting
Meanwhile, Portula has existed since 2004 and we recently introduced Fjord Rentals: the letting of luxurious wooden holiday villas at different beautiful locations in Norway.
