The easiest car route from the Netherlands to Norway is through Germany to northern Denmark. There, several ferry services depart daily from the ports of Frederikshaven and Hirtshals to southern Norway.
Once you arrive by car in northern Denmark, you can take a boat to southern Norway. The shortest crossing, from Hirtshals to Kristiansand, takes only 2 hours and 15 minutes. There are three companies that operate schedules between Denmark and Norway: Colorline, Stenaline and Fjordline. If you want something different, you can also take the ferry from Kiel (Germany) to Oslo. This trip is already an experience because of all the facilities on board. There are ferries to Norway from Denmark, Germany and Sweden. Most ferry companies offer packages to transport a car with passengers. There are often discounts for seniors, students and children.
Several airlines fly to Norway several times daily. KLM flies you to Kristiansand airport in southern Norway in about an hour. From here it is about 2.5 hours to our most popular construction sites. It is also possible to fly to the capital Oslo. From here you will drive in about 3.5 hours to your vacation home near Vrådal.
